Day 5 - A Day of Dreaming
501 Collective in Romania
We got up this morning and headed to a distribution area right up the road from Fight For Freedom (FFF).
The man who owned the building was allowing it to be used by FFF for putting together packages for food distribution but at the same time, FFF was needing to find a place of their own. And although it was incredibly generous to have access to this space, the space wasn’t enough for all of the donations coming in.
FFF was looking for plots of land within 50 kilometers to build on. Meanwhile, someone just down the road, about a kilometer, offered 10 acres and land and 9 structures for $300,000. And by offered, we’re talking this week, as in yesterday… and the $300,000 is likely millions under what a normal asking price would be.
And here our team was, some of the first to walk on, pray for, and explore this property.
I looked at the property and saw walls coming apart, a ceiling caving in, and a very run-down, unusable facility.
Gheorghe (FFF) beamed with pride looking at the structures. He pointed at the ceilings and wall and spoke what he saw. He pointed into rooms, “I see food distribution here. I see shelves for storage here. I see a place to keep meat cold here. It’ll be like Joseph in the Bible with storehouses of food,”
Like everything, it’s all a matter of perspective.
And there’s no doubt that what Gheorghe is seeing will come to pass.
The buildings were built in the 1950’s by the Communist regime as an ammo and weapons depot. It took 25 months to build and when those who built it went back to their home in the Soviet Union, they were jailed for building the depot in an area that was not hidden.
The buildings that were meant for death and destruction are now being re-built for life and restoration.
Genesis 50:20 As for you, you meant evil against me, but God meant it for good in order to bring about this present result, to preserve many people alive.

*The man who currently owns the land is no longer in need of it, hence the sale price to FFF who he witnessed doing good work nearby.
*FFF didn’t have an extra $300,000 laying around, surprise. But, as tends to happen when God is at work, someone from Texas called and said they had been looking for a non-profit to support and had been connected to FFF. They wanted to donate… $300,000.
